Like you, I am supporting faculty who are new to online teaching. Many are reluctant and skeptical. Often, we find that it would be helpful to be able to refer a faculty to a peer within their own discipline who has online teaching experience. I have created a form in an effort to create a list of discipline-specific online teaching faculty “mentors” (using that term loosely, as there is no formal plan in place) and public online communities where faculty could go to connect, share, and learn with peers.
If this sounds like the type of thing you (or anyone you know) might wish to be part of, please complete this form. We have a specific need for faculty and communities in STEM fields. If you have questions, please message me directly (to avoid mass replies-to-all).
