  • Wow, this is a short post full of BIG plans!

    First let me thank you for your Phase 1 goals that involve sharing TOPkit with some many groups on your campus. I hope they find it equally useful, and encourage them all to participate in the community. Even though we’re neighbors, it can be challenging to get out of the office and see each other often, but we can continue the discourse here in between meetings. The added benefit is that others at a distance may join in and collaborate too!

    One thing that caught my attention was your Phase 2 action project: “New Dean and Chair Evaluating Online Quality course.” What an excellent concept. Would you be willing to share what instigated this new course? Was it requested by administration or the academic departments or your office? I would love to see how we might involve deans & chairs more in our quality initiative. Any insight you might provide would be greatly appreciated.

    Also, I’m trying to follow your timeline. Perhaps this is a work in progress. I see that planning starts May 2017. Do you have any milestone dates for that ambitious list or an end date in mind? Surely you won’t have everything done by Fall 2017, right?

    Final thought – while this post clearly came from your Implementation Plan, would you be willing to share your full document with the rest of the group? That probably has a lot more detail.
