Family Educational Rights and Privacy Act (FERPA)

This section discusses the Family Educational Rights and Privacy Act of 1974 (FERPA) and the importance of addressing it in a faculty development program as well as the importance of connecting faculty with the FERPA resources and authoritative sources at your institution.

Universal Design for Learning (UDL)

This section introduces the concept of Universal Design for Learning (UDL), a set of principles for curriculum development that provides all individuals equal opportunities to learn. It also contains UDL resources that would be beneficial to include in a faculty development program.
